Pickleball's Newest Cheat Code. The Two-Handed Backhand Roll Dink.
Powered by https://pickleballdrillsapp.com
The two-handed backhand roll dink is pickleball’s newest cheat code. My friend Luke Larsen (5.5 rated player) has one of the best in the game.
In this video, he teaches it in detail. Grip, grip pressure, technique, footwork…everything you need to start hitting it yourself.
Steal it. Use it. Add this weapon to your arsenal.

Really enjoyed this breakdown. Luke does a great job taking a shot that usually looks “advanced” and showing the actual mechanics underneath it — grip pressure, the V‑zone, low‑to‑high brushing, and the footwork that makes the whole thing possible. What I especially appreciate is how he frames the two‑handed roll dink as a decision, not a default. Use it when the ball is in your zone, abandon it when it’s not. That’s the kind of nuance most players miss. This is one of the better explanations I’ve seen for players trying to add controlled aggression on the backhand side.
